Tollaid is a service provider contracted by Rental Car Companies, Dealerships and Fleet Agencies to process toll charges and traffic and parking violations on their behalf.

Our electronic toll payment solution enables you to use covered cashless toll collection lanes or all-electronic tollways, without the use of a personal transponder or paying the toll authority directly.

Your rental agreement allows charges for tolls, parking, and traffic violations, plus related administrative fees. These are billed directly to your credit card.

Transactions are billed when they're posted by toll agencies, which can happen after your return date. Please confirm your actual return date so we can match it against the transaction timestamps.

Failure to pay your invoices may cause the following to occur:
• Penalties may be assessed.
• Your ability to rent a vehicle in the future may be affected.
• Your account may be sent to a collection agency.

You should receive a toll invoice between 5 to 10 days after returning your vehicle.

When toll authorities delay posting transactions, a subsequent invoice will be sent with the late tolls. We will attempt to charge them to the card on file.

Tollaid does not charge additional fees. However, your rental agency or dealership may apply a separate convenience or processing fee according to their policy.

You are being charged an administrative fee in accordance with the terms of your rental agreement.

All invoices are sent to the email address on file. Please make sure to provide a current email address when renting a vehicle. Additionally, you may go to https://mytollreceipt.com and retrieve the invoices.

All vehicles are registered with the toll authority, and tolls during your loaner/rental period (date and time) are processed automatically. Note that you will only pay this fee if tolls are used. In addition to the potential Convenience fee, you will be charged for each toll incurred during the Rental Period at the higher of the applicable toll authority's cash toll rate or highest undiscounted toll rate.

No, Tollaid will not charge any fees if you don't use toll roads.

Toll charges appear on your credit card as "TOLL CHARGES - TOLLAID" and are managed by Tollaid LLC. You should receive a toll invoice between 5 to 10 days after returning your vehicle.

A Transfer of Liability transfers liability for a toll or violation from the owner of the car, the Rental Car Company, to the person responsible for the vehicle at the time of the toll or violation, the renter.

Tollaid is compliant with California vehicle Statute 23305.Bay Area: The Golden Gate Bridge and certain other California tollways are all-electronic tollways and do not accept cash or credit card for toll payment at the time of use. Customers who drive on the Golden Gate Bridge can make payments by:
  • Accepting Tollaid service at the rental counter;
  • Using their own transponder that is fully-funded, properly mounted, and compatible with the tollway;
  • Paying the toll authority directly online, by phone, or in person (at various locations) up to 30 days prior to crossing the bridge or within 48 hours after crossing the bridge.

Coverage is NOT available on Express Lanes SR 237 and I-15.Southern California: Rental Customers who drive on Southern California tollways SR 73, 133, 241, 261, Express Lanes I-10, I-110, SR 91, and 125 have the option to pay for tolls directly by using the toll authority website's "One-Time-Toll" payment option within 5 days after toll occurrence. For more information, see thetollroads.com. Coverage is NOT available on I-15 Express Lanes. (If you use these tollways without paying, it will be treated as a violation per the terms of your rental agreement.)

• Friday morning: Initial invoice is sent. Payment due by Sunday 11:59 PM (2-day window).
• Saturday & Sunday: Reminder emails are sent.
• Monday 12:01 AM: Late-payment email with penalty applied.
